The HSP is more common in men for some reason. Common viral. Your doctor should supervise an eye on your blood pressure and urine. (as is sometimes the disease is on the kidneys)
Like any virus could return, but it can never again threatened.

Purpura is rheumatoid vasculitis, which occurs more frequently in particular small vessels in children. The most common symptoms include palpable purpura, joint pain, gastrointestinal symptoms and signs, and glomerulonephritis. The diagnosis is made clinically. The disease is self-limiting. Corticosteroids may relieve gastrointestinal symptoms and joint pain, but does not alter the course of the disease. Progressive May require high doses of corticosteroids and cyclophosphamide.
Possible complications of HSP:
* Recurrence of symptoms
* Kidney problems (which can in rare cases)
